Andy Dong is currently a Senior Lecturer in
Design Computing and Cognition in the Faculty
of Architecture, Design and Planning at the University
of Sydney.
My research concerns the conceptual links between language
and design: how does language enact design, what are the linguistic properties of
language use in design, and what are the sociolinguistic codes of the language of
design. Determining the link between language and design has broader implications
in understanding the interconnectedness of two key human faculties.
Andy is fortunate to call two of the world's favourite cities,
San Francisco and Sydney, home.
