This website is an accurate and extensive documentation of the final project assessment for DECO2606 - Realtime 3D Multimedia (DesComp,USYD). The project itself is aimed to represent a DATASET of my own choosing and map this conceptually to 3D visualisations. The primary tool in operation is VirTools Development 3.5. The data in question was gathered via PHP scripting from an american hardcore punk band THURSDAY website thursday.net.

Thursday are a band who are strikingly heavy with metaphor and convey this lyrically in conjuction with real world themes such as urbanisation of the United States(Track 1 - For the Workforce, Drowning) or politcal issues such as gay hate crimes (Track 11 - M.Shephard). Their musical message is communicated via their songs from their CDs or MP3s. This 3d demo is aimed to convey the same message by visualising their NEWS and QUESTION + ANSWER data from their website in the form of 3D objects and models who have processes carried out in order to abstractly communicate motion and emotion.
