Introduction

Feeling is a “demo” designed for DECO2606 Real-time 3D Multimedia and design. It explores the changing lifestyle of current generations and their relationship with technology, namely the Internet, and rather ironically, how their personal relationships are affected by this new (artificial) relationship.

An interesting observation about today’s society is the growing trend of blogs and online journals and the willingness of users to express one’s feelings, personal/intimate thoughts and even recounts of day-to-day happenings. Reading these gives us an insight into the changing nature of today’s generations. Feeling explores this insight by utilising the very means of these expression – i.e. the letters and numbers used by those to express themselves.
