Introduction

Hello and welcome to my website documentation about my final project for DECO2606 - Realtime 3D Multimedia. In here you will find extensive information regarding my infoDemo titled: "Are You Game?" and the process I took to complete it. An infoDemo as the name suggests, is an audio/visual computer generated representation of data and information. It is generated in realtime, and is based off data and statistics. Realtime 3D Multimedia

This elective aims at introducing and teaching the people the principles of 3D multimedia in realtime. From just creating introductions to games to being used in everything digital: games, virtual reality etc, it has become a culture. The software we used for this course was Virtools 4.0.

infoDemo

As stated above, an infoDemo is an audio/visual computer generated representation of data and information. A strong part of the infoDemo is the data source (also known as the dataset). Datasets are used to allow parts of the demo to show off the information in an aesthetically pleasing fashion. If the dataset is static ie it does not change at all. If the dataset is dynamic ie it changes on a regular basis, it could also alter the actual appearance of the demo.
