This project is about making people aware of saving energy using technology that is persuasive rather than proscriptive.

The Shower Minder's mission is to make people aware of how many minutes they are in the shower by combining comedy and popular culture references to their experience in an attempt to reduce their total showering time.

The main elements are a small microprocessor board that controls the behaviour of the shower curtain by animating it in such a way that it appears to have a mind of its own.
