The library installation ‘UniverCity’ is basically a hot topic search interface with the backdrop of a city. It includes two parts in the installation; the digital wall and the physical memo pad dispenser
in the form of three columns in a box to represent buildings.
The user is to find the Dewey code in the system and write it on the memo pad so that they are able to look for information regarding the topic they were searching up on. Each time a user activates the physical memo pad dispenser; the motion sensor set up at the bottom of the physical installation will go off and trigger a light on one of the buildings on a cityscape on the digital installation to clearly show the popularity of users in each of the three faculties.
