Kingsgrove Youth Ministry is all about forming friendships and developing a closer, reflective and personal relationship with God. This is achieved through powerful liturgies, emotive music and a great sense of community between the people present.

There are now a number of Youth groups within the parish that you or some one you know could be involved in. These groups cover a range of ages and if you come across a group you want to know more about then drop them a line or get in contact with the Kingsgrove Youth Worker.

During May of 2003 a group of young people from the parish travelled out to Baulkham Hills to a retreat centre for a weekend. This weekend was the true beginning of the Youth Team.

The group spent time analysing the current situation of the parish and then looked towards the future as each individual imagined what the parish community would look like in 5 years time. This weekend was the pivotal moment for Youth Ministry in Kingsgrove as the Youth present returned so much more empowered and so much more united in direction and passion.

So, in September of 2003 the first ever Youth Plan For Kingsgrove was developed (Strategic Management Plan for Youth Ministry). It is in this plan that our visions for the future are encapsulated, and it is from this plan that the Youth Leadership team members gain their direction from.

This very document is also review every year as new members join the Youth team, therefore giving new members the opportunity to have a sense of ownership and connectedness to the Youth Plan.
