Ambient Tetris is a real-time data Tetris visualizing eating habits and patterns in Atros Cafe over periods of time. The design tries to describe the eating habits of your customers in a dynamic, narrative and non-liner fashion. It focuses on eating patterns, trends and relationships overtime.

Basic rules are:
Every time the barcode scanner scans an item sold, the system will generate a Tetris shape. The most healthy food will try it best to match the rest of the Tetris, and vice verse, the most unhealthy food will try it best to make the biggest gap with the rest of the Tetris. Three colors of lights are also installed and controlled by real time barcode scanner input data. A green light is activated if a healthy food is sold, such as a green salad sandwich. A yellow light is activated if an average healthiness food is sold such as a pasta. A red light is activated if an unhealthy food is sold such as a can of coke. The physical lighting enhance the Tetris concept, make it more intuitive and realizable.
